Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin

Christ Church Cathedral

Christ Church Cathedral

Next up in Dublin
Bert sees quite a sight
It’s the Christ Church Cathedral
And it towers to great height!

A thousand years of worship
Has been held within the walls
Underneath you’ll find a crypt
With cold and gray walls

The crypt is so big
It extends under the whole place
There’s many gorgeous statues
That are scattered about the space

While in the crypt
Be sure to grab some tea
At the Cathedral Café
With a cake or a pastry

Bert grabs a quick drink
And then he heads out
Next door is Dublinia
A fun place, he has no doubt

Walking through Dublinia
You learn about Vikings
And their history in Dublin
If that sounds to your likings

Learn Viking history
And try on some gear
Then hit the gift shop
To grab a souvenir!

Lastly Bert climbs up
The St. Michael’s Tower
Where the view is so pretty
You could hang here for an hour

Looking over the city
Bert admires the view
Even with the rain
He manages to see through

Bert loves Dublin!

Bert loves Dublin!

Bert has loved Dublin
But now it’s time to fly
He needs to head home
But is sad to say goodbye

Once back in London
Bert will need some rest
But it won’t be too long
Until his next quest!

Time to head home to London
