Tower of London

Overlooking the Tower Bridge

Overlooking the Tower Bridge

Crossing the Tower Bridge
Bert sees his next site
A massive castle wall
Built to take a fight

The Tower of London is huge
Bert thinks it’s quite gorgeous
But the real name of this place
Is Her Majesty’s Royal Palace & Fortress

Looking down to the Tower Bridge

Looking down to the Tower Bridge

Tower of London

Tower of London

Outside the Tower

Outside the Tower

Bert inside the walls

Bert inside the walls

William the Conqueror
Created the White Tower
Which gave the castle its name
And with it came great power

Many kings have passed through
These stone walls of white
And also there were prisoners
One escaped in the night

Bert hears the place is haunted
Wait! Who’s coming down the hall
This is scary, he dare not tarry
Oh, it’s his shadow on the wall

Just finished seeing the Crown Jewels

Just finished seeing the Crown Jewels

Today you can see
The Crown Jewels in their cases
Or the armory
With it’s shields, swords, & maces

Bert loves the Tower!

Bert loves the Tower!

Bert grabs a coffee
And then a souvenir
It’s off to the next stop
Who knows where he’ll appear

Bert enjoying a latte
